This week we went to the computer lab and went to jottit.com. At this site students created a website where they can publish their writing. They can access their site at home where they can edit current pieces of writing or create new pages. I have listed our classroom links for you to visit. This is a really great way to create excitement about writing! Happy Writing!

Classroom Community
Students spent the first few weeks getting back into the routine of school. During that time we focused on building our classroom community. We worked with different partners and groups of friends to complete a variety of projects. One project they completed with a partner is a friendship map that compared two friends. They discovered things they had in common and things that were different about each other. They then had to use their friendship map to tell the class about their partner. Our classroom community is working well together.
